The Ronnie Scott’s All Stars: A Celebration of Gershwin
21st July 2019 - 8:00pm
Direct from London’s world-famous jazz club, The Ronnie Scott’s All Stars presents a tribute to perhaps the most significant and popular composer of all time, George Gershwin.
George Gershwin once said: "When I'm in my normal mood, music drips from my fingers,", and it’s easy to see why – with numbers such as ‘Summertime’, ‘Someone to Watch Over Me’, ‘I Got Rhythm’ and ‘Rhapsody in Blue’, his music forms an essential plank of the Great American Songbook, as well as representing some of the finest works of the Twentieth Century.
Led by Ronnie’s Scott’s musical director, The Ronnie Scott’s All Stars, take you on a guided tour of Gershwin’s work – featuring world-class live music, projected images and narration.
